  Only XM, S3M, MOD and IT. No size or style limits. Only one song per month per composer. Deadline: last day of each month at midday. only 25 entires accepted.

• Moai's Mod Compo : monthly compo. public voting (top 5 sent by web form).
  Send only song information (URL, composer name, song title, age, country, email, commnets) by web form. Don't send files. No song that just has partecipated at 100 others compo. max 1 song per composer. max 3 Mb zipped. format : .it, .xm, .mod or .s3m.

• Lost Worlds Music Competition : New music competition. Votes by own staff (4 voters). Nice: every voter makes comments on every song. Strange mods are welcome too.

• Modarchive :
  Rules: submissions by web form (only Netscape 2 and above) or by FTP. Mods will be screened for quality. min. song length 20 seconds. no huge songs. formats: mod, s3m, xm, it, mtm, stm and 669 (zip, lha or arj compressed or uncompressed).

• International Buzz Music Competition : This seems to be a commercial competition. The Deadline for the enntires has passed. If you are registered, you may vote now (till June 29) for the 49 entries.
  Rules : max. file size is 4 MB. max. 8 minutes playing time. max. 1 song per artist. no explicit lyrics. no remixes, remakes, etc. "Play the mod for your Mom over the phone." ??? Ehm, only Buzz mods are accepted...

• TekStup Awards : 4 contests per year with 4 categories: Modules, ReBirth, Midi, and mp3, with one winner for each category.
  Rules: Your file must just be uploaded somewhere in the net. Max. file size is 2 MB. Everyone can elect 3 favorite pieces.

• Trax In Space : Huge music archive. Public voting (1 to 10 points)
  It's not a contest but a music archive. but you may vote. submissions by Web or FTP. No limitations for song length, kBs / MBs. any style. . Moreover, there are a Top New Songs section and a Top 10 of The Week page.

• The Internet Music Monitor : You may partecipate at the IMM Goa Compo. You also may ask to give a detailed review of your song. May be they will put your song and a review into one of their style departments. Since this site is really great, it's a little hard to surf around.

• Trashcan - Mods de CowBoyZ : really strange and funny French and English language compo.

• United Trackers Competitions List : Big list of music competitions. A lot of bad or outdated links. You may promote your own competition here.

• Mod Compo Webring : This is a webring of mod compos. Some dead links.

• Flamecompo : English and French language contest. Was outdated, but, little by little, it seems to return now.
  Rules: max 2 songs (< 1 Mb each), one in each category. .submit only URL and song information by email, don't join any file. formats: XM and IT (compressed or not, only zip packed). You can compose a song specialy for the Flame Compo or use an old one (not before 1st Jan. 1998). But the song must not have yet participated in an other mod compo before. You have to chosse a category (techno or Other). No Maximum song playable time.

• cRUSh�s tracking contest : monthly compo. public vote. German version available. This site compo is (temporary ?) down, since lots of trackers don't vote. :(
  Rules: Usage of Samples is only allowed with permission of it's owners. Remixing commercial Songs is not welcome. formats: .XM .IT .s3m .MOD .AST. unlimited file size. only packed files. obligatoy text file (information about composer + song) to put into the zip file. Only one entry per Person.
